Starting Location: 805 N. Main St., Pocatello, ID

1. Registration and Fees

  • All participants must register prior to the start of the Fun Run.

  • Registration fees are as follows:

    • Early Bird: $30

    • Oct. 1st-10th: $35

    • Day Of: $40

  • Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable.

2. Eligibility

  • Participants of all ages are welcome.

  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the race.

  • By registering, participants affirm they are physically fit and able to complete a 5K run/walk.

3. Waiver and Liability

  • By participating, runners acknowledge that running is a potentially hazardous activity and assume all risks associated with the Costume Dash 5K Fun Run.

  • Organizers, sponsors, and volunteers are not liable for injury, illness, theft, loss, or damages occurring before, during, or after the event.

  • Participants agree not to hold Housing Alliance and Community Partnerships (HACP), Delirium, Friends of the Children, or the City of Pocatello responsible for any claims arising from participation.

4. Safety Rules

  • Costumes are encouraged, but must not obstruct vision or movement or create hazards to other participants.

  • Pets, bicycles, skateboards, and motorized vehicles are not permitted on the race route.

  • Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the race.

  • Headphones are permitted but participants must remain alert to course officials and emergency instructions.

 

5. Event Changes and Cancellation

  • Organizers reserve the right to change the course, postpone, or cancel the event in case of inclement weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond their control.

  • No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation.

 

6. Media Release

  • By registering, participants grant permission for the use of photographs, video, and likenesses taken during the Fun Run for promotional purposes by the event organizers.

 

7. Code of Conduct

  • Participants are expected to treat all other runners, volunteers, and staff with respect.

  • Disorderly, unsafe, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.

 

8. Agreement to Terms

  • By registering for the Fun Run, participants acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
